Core performance requirements for fiberglass yarn vary significantly across industries:
General reinforcement (standard FRP, conventional building materials): Choose high-volume, cost-effective **E-glass (alkali-free) yarn**, which covers over 90% of standard needs.
Building exterior insulation and concrete reinforcement: Prioritize high-alkali-resistance (AR) fiberglass yarn; meeting specific zirconia content standards is essential to ensure long-term crack resistance.
PCB electronic substrates: Electronic-grade fiberglass yarn is mandatory; it requires minimal fuzz, uniform tension, and a stable dielectric constant (around 3.7) to ensure circuit insulation performance.

Aerospace and high-load structural applications: Select high-strength S-glass yarn; its tensile strength is 30–40% higher than standard E-glass, making it suitable for high-load conditions.
