Instructions for Using Fiberglass Tape

General Basic Procedures
Ensure the bonding surface is clean, dry, and free of oil or impurities before use. Cut the tape to the required size using a sharp tool. After application, press down with a roller or scraper to expel air bubbles and ensure full adhesion to the substrate. Allow it to sit for 24 hours for complete curing, avoiding forceful pulling or shifting during this period.

 

Fiberglass Tape for Wall Repair
Align the tape with the wall crack and press it firmly in place. Trim off any excess, apply joint compound or mortar, and let it air dry. Lightly sand the surface, then apply a finish coat to restore a smooth wall surface.

 

Water-Activated Armoring Tape
Wear rubber gloves and open the package. Soak the tape in water for 4–6 seconds, then squeeze out excess water. Wrap it around the object at a 45° angle with a 50% overlap, applying 4–8 layers and shaping as needed. Initial curing occurs in about 10 minutes at room temperature; it can bear weight after 30 minutes and achieves full mechanical protection after 1 hour.

 

Fiberglass Tape for Pipe Leak Repair
First, sand and clean away rust and oil from the area surrounding the leak. Prepare the specialized adhesive, then wrap the resin-impregnated fiberglass tape layer by layer. Allow it to sit at room temperature for 2 hours to complete the curing and sealing process.
