Materials of Fiberglass Tape

Backing Material: Primarily composed of fiberglass cloth or fiberglass yarn. Some products incorporate a composite layer of PET or OPP film to enhance overall performance, while high-temperature resistant versions often utilize electronic-grade alkali-free fiberglass cloth.

 

Adhesive: Commonly uses acrylic or rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesives. Specialized adhesives-such as silicone or hot-melt types-are employed in specific applications to meet varying requirements for temperature resistance and bonding strength.

 

Release Liner: Typically features a silicone-coated release paper to protect the adhesive surface and prevent sticking before use.
