EIFS Fiberglass Mesh is a specialized alkali-resistant reinforcement fabric engineered exclusively for Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS). Woven from high-strength fiberglass yarn and coated with a premium alkali-resistant polymer, it serves as the critical structural "skeleton" within the EIFS base coat, ensuring the facade's long-term durability, impact resistance, and crack-free performance.
Working Principle
EIFS fiberglass mesh works as a structural reinforcement layer inside the base coat of insulation systems.
When embedded into the wet base coat, it forms a continuous stress-distribution network. This helps absorb and disperse tensile stress caused by temperature changes, building movement, and shrinkage of materials. As a result, it significantly reduces the risk of cracking and surface failure.
The alkali-resistant coating protects the fiberglass fibers from degradation in alkaline cement environments, ensuring long-term performance.
