Fiberglass Veil is a lightweight nonwoven glass fiber material used as a surface layer in many composite products. We produce it from continuous glass filaments and adjust the fiber arrangement according to different production methods. Some applications require a more uniform random distribution, while others work better with partially oriented fibers.

How It Works

After resin is applied, the veil becomes part of the outer layer instead of remaining a separate covering. The glass fibers lock into the resin and form a compact surface.

Adding a fiberglass veil helps spread local stress over a wider area, making those defects less likely to develop into visible cracks. It also gives the finished surface a cleaner appearance and improves resistance to daily wear.

We control fiber distribution during production so the finished veil keeps a uniform thickness and an even surface. This also helps resin flow through the material more smoothly during lamination.
