Fiberglass Yarn for Mesh is manufactured from continuous E-glass filaments for the production of woven reinforcement fabrics. The yarn is intended for fiberglass mesh used in exterior insulation systems, cement reinforcement, drywall accessories, waterproofing products, and industrial composite applications.

During production, individual filaments are gathered into yarns with controlled linear density and package construction. A dedicated sizing is applied before winding to improve weaving performance and compatibility with subsequent polymer coating processes.

Manufacturing

The sizing performs several functions during downstream processing. It protects the filaments from abrasion, improves yarn cohesion during weaving, and promotes adhesion between the woven fabric and the coating system applied after weaving.

 

Once woven, the mesh normally enters an acrylic coating line where the intersections are fixed and the fabric geometry is stabilized.

Yarn quality becomes visible during weaving rather than during package inspection.

Stable unwinding supports uniform warp tension across the loom width. Consistent filament distribution helps maintain regular mesh openings, particularly in lightweight fabrics where dimensional variation is more apparent.

During coating, uniform yarn construction promotes even polymer pickup across the fabric surface. This contributes to consistent mesh appearance and reduces distortion during drying.
